Welcome to the most prestigious and glamorous event of the week! Camp Runamok presents the 77th Annual Talent Show! Where dreams come true, bribes are accepted, and no one leaves without a participation trophy! [producer note: who ordered trophies?]
Why watch from the sidelines when you could be the star? Shine bright starlights and participate!
Talent Show rules for all our star-studded Campers:
⭐️ Keep it tite. 1 talent per Cabin. Because we believe in the power of exclusivity.
📝 Fill out this form. Your journey to fame starts with paperwork.
⏳ 5-minute time limit per act. Save the 3-hour ballad for Patrón Karaoke.
🌊 No liquids on stage. We don’t love liquids being part of the Talent Show, but if you must, we’ll have you perform on the floor in front of the stage. Give us a heads-up in this form at and your check-in.
🎶 Tech time! If you need photos, video, audio, or graphics, send us links to them when you fill out the form so we can work our magic sourcing those audio files for you and downloading graphics, images, and videos in advance. If we don't have your file or a link to what you want to use by 2 pm Thursday, no dice.
❓ Questions? Find Amanda, AV Club, or Scott, Cocktail Kingdom/Head Counselors. Or just have your Cabin Counselor do your bidding and come find us.
🚫 No-nos: Harming others or Camp property, nudity, or hate speech of any kind (misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, sexism—none of it will be tolerated).
💰 You break it, you buy it...Not really, but just don't break any of Camp and Josh Brasted super cool tech and production equipment. Be mindful when planning and performing. DO NOT DROP THE MIC.
🎤 Meet the Talent Show Producers, Amanda and Scott, between Tuesday and Thursday for a pre-show check-in—don’t worry, we’ll slide into your DMs to set it up.
💰 Bribes and compliments for the Producers and Hosts are not only welcomed but encouraged. [producer fun fact: known to imbibe in vermouths, fortified wines, bitter aperitifs, amari]
